Personal financial coach. I got you, sis.

I’m Leah Davis, I help black and brown women understand the emotions behind their money decisions, build real financial confidence, and finally feel in control of their finances. This is not about perfection. It is about progress that actually fits your life

Finance Coach Leah Davis

A financial coach that covers more than the numbers.

Whether you come for the budget help or the deeper work, these are the six areas we address together. All of them matter. All of them are connected.

Your Emotional Spending Patterns

We look at what is driving your spending beyond the practical. The emotional triggers, the stress responses, the moments when you spend to feel better and then feel worse. Understanding the pattern is the first step to changing it.

Building Real Financial Habits

Not habits someone else gave you. Habits that actually fit your life, your income, and the way you actually move through the world. We build them slowly, consistently, and in a way that lasts.

Cash Flow and Financial Responsibility

The practical side. Budgeting, cash flow, savings, and debt. We get into the numbers together without shame and build a system you can actually maintain. Being financially responsible starts with a plan that fits your real income.

The Money Beliefs Running the Show

What you learned about money growing up. What was said. What was never said. Those beliefs are shaping your financial decisions right now. We identify the ones keeping you stuck and decide together which ones you actually want to keep.

Your Path to Financial Independence

What does financial independence actually mean for your life? For some women it is getting out of debt. For others it is saving consistently for the first time. For others it is finally paying themselves first. We get clear on what it means for you and build toward it.

Financial Self Care as a Practice

Taking care of your finances is taking care of yourself. We build the rituals, the check-ins, and the boundaries that make your financial wellness sustainable. Not a sprint. A practice you can return to.

Coaching with Leah is a good place to start if you are looking for clarity about what you are doing with your money and the reasons behind it. Prior to coaching with Leah I was feeling depressed and lost. After a few sessions, I gained confidence in my ability to fulfill my dreams. Now I have healthy boundaries and I have decreased the fear I had to finish my book!

Questions about personal finance coaching.

Everything you might be wondering before we talk. If something is not here, reach out and ask.

What does a personal financial coach actually do?

A personal financial coach like Leah Davis helps you understand your relationship with money, identify the patterns and behaviors keeping you stuck, and build practical habits that actually fit your life.

The work is not just about budgets and spreadsheets. It is about the emotions, the history, and the stories you carry around money. We address all of it.

You leave each session with clear next steps and a plan that feels completely yours. Not a template someone handed you.

Both can be valuable and they are not mutually exclusive.

A therapist works with your mental and emotional health broadly. Leah Davis as a personal finance coach focuses specifically on your relationship with money. The behaviors, the avoidance, the patterns, and the practical habits you want to build.

The work complements each other well. If you are unsure, the free discovery call is a good place to figure out what kind of support fits where you are right now.

Leah offers financial coaching packages at three levels so there is an accessible entry point for wherever you are right now.

The Prosperity Chat is three private sessions on a sliding scale from $75 to $600. You choose the amount that works for your budget. Payment plans are available.

The 1:1 coaching packages are six sessions for $1,200 or eight sessions for $1,600. That is $200 per session either way. Payment plans are available for these too.

The Prosperity Xchange Group Cohort is six weeks at $350 to $500 per seat on a sliding scale.

The free discovery call is the first step and there is no obligation to commit after.

It depends on where you are starting from and what you want to shift.

Most clients notice a difference in how they feel about money within the first two or three sessions. The anxiety starts to loosen. The avoidance starts to lift. The next steps start to feel possible.

The deeper behavioral shifts take more time. That is why Leah offers packages of six or eight sessions rather than one-off calls. Real change in how you relate to money takes consistency and a relationship, not a single conversation.

The Prosperity Chat is a good starting point if you want to experience the work before committing to a full package.

Every financial coaching session with Leah Davis starts where you are that day. Not where a curriculum says you should be.

We talk about what is coming up for you around money. We go into the feelings, the patterns, and what you want to change. We work through whatever needs to move.

At the end of each session you know exactly what to focus on before we meet again. Within 48 hours you receive a written action plan so nothing gets lost.

Sessions are 60 minutes via Zoom. Just the two of us.

Healing-centered financial coaching is what Leah Davis practices. It is an approach that recognizes money is not just math. It is emotional. It is historical. It is tied to safety, security, identity, and the environments you grew up in.

Rather than handing you a budget and telling you to stick to it, healing-centered coaching looks at what is driving your financial behavior in the first place. The avoidance. The emotional spending. The patterns that keep showing up no matter how many times you restart.

When you understand the root, the practical work becomes possible. And it sticks.

Yes. This is core to the work Leah Davis does.

Financial trauma is what happens when your experiences with money have made money feel unsafe. When you avoid looking at your bank account. When you spend to feel better and then feel worse. When you freeze when it is time to make a financial decision.

These are not character flaws. They are responses your nervous system learned. And they can shift.

Leah’s coaching addresses the trauma of money directly. We do not skip past it to get to the spreadsheet. We start there. Because that is where the real work is.

This is exactly the question Leah Davis built her practice around.

Worrying about money and avoiding action usually go together. The anxiety makes it hard to look. Not looking makes the anxiety worse. It is a cycle and it is not your fault.

The way through is not more willpower. It is understanding what is driving the worry in the first place. What your nervous system learned about money. What stories are running underneath the surface.

When you understand that, taking action becomes possible. Not easy necessarily. But possible. And that is where Leah’s coaching begins.

You've got enough on your plate, sis. You deserve support you can easily access.

Just an honest conversation about where you are and what you want to change.
